About Us...Nestled in the heart of the Laurel Mountains, The Old General Store opened its doors on May 1, 1997. Conveniently located one mile from exit 9 of the PA Turnpike on RT 31 East, in the village of Donegal Pennsylvania. It shares the same building as The Country Pie Shoppe.

Outside the Store Our Store features old-fashioned candies & fudge, primitives, old-fashioned soaps, and all types of candles.

We also feature American made tinware, potpourri, folk art, wall hangings, and furniture, natural bath & body products, aroma therapy oils & related items. Lots of hand made wooden toys are also available.

Our gourmet food line includes fresh roasted coffee, jams & jellies, Pennsylvania maple syrup & honey, and lots more!!

Inside Store We specialize in custom gift baskets. Try one for a unique gift for that "hard to buy for" person on your list.
